The Dutch Post-Study Work Visa is officially known as the Orientation Year Visa (Zoekjaar in Dutch). This is a special residence permit designed for recent international graduates to search for a job or start a business in the Netherlands.
Duration: The visa is valid for a non-extendable period of one year (12 months) and must be applied for within three years of graduation.
Flexibility: It grants free access to the Dutch labor market, meaning you can work for any employer in any job without a separate work permit (TWV).
Eligibility: You must have completed an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in the Netherlands.
